Hi all,
Our program blocks are selling out! We will have standby onsite, but why try your chances? Get your tickets now. Don’t miss these three stories on climate activism gone right and gone wrong:
🛢️ VALVE TURNERS: A real life story of activists risking it all to turn off pipelines, with the director and protagonists present for a Q&A at this world premiere.
🐋 One with the Whale: Discover of a part of Alaska you’ve never seen, where whale hunting is still essential to survival and indigenous tradition clashes with anti-whaling activists on social media. Co-director in person for Q&A.
✊ Powershift: Defying Fossil Fuels: From the courageous activism of Ken Saro-Wiwa in Nigeria to a community’s fight for electrification in Oregon, and the remarkable journey of John Francis, who walked across America in silence after witnessing an oil spill, these films explore how individuals and communities are confronting the fossil fuel industry to pave the way for a sustainable future.
