Wednesday, Sept. 25
⛵️ WindShipped at South Street Seaport Museum’s Wavertree
Join us for the screening of the 39-minute documentary film WindShipped, presented in partnership with Waterfront Alliance and Climate Film Festival. WindShipped tells the story of how one man’s quixotic dream turned into reality. For the past five years, the schooner Apollonia has been delivering goods up and down the Hudson River by sail, including deliveries to South Street, reminiscent of a time when numerous cargo boats sailed the river daily.

🎬 Online Screening of Underwater Projects with DCEFF
Co-Presented with Hip Hop Caucus & Climate Film Festival as Part of Climate Week NYC. Screening includes pre-recorded conversations with the filmmakers and Rev. Lennox Yearwood. Both moderated by Mustafa Santiago Ali. Underwater Projects unpacks a Norfolk, VA “climate resilience” redevelopment plan from the perspective of community leaders and members, government officials, scientists, and climate, and national security experts.

🚀 Marketplace of the Future
